Hi, I’m Kendra Gutierrez, LPC-Associate
I’m a therapist who works with women navigating anxiety, life transitions, and identity shifts- including pregnancy and postpartum.
A lot of my clients are used to holding things together. They’re thoughtful, capable, and show up for others. But internally, it can feel like a lot- constant overthinking, pressure that doesn’t turn off, or a sense that something just feels off.
Therapy here is a space to sort through that without rushing or overcomplicating it.
I work with women across different stages of life, with a particular focus on pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. Becoming a mom myself deepened my understanding of how complex this season can be- emotionally, mentally, and relationally- and that perspective shapes how I show up in the work.
How I Work
I’m present, engaged, and direct in the room.
I’ll help you notice patterns, understand what’s underneath them, and figure out what actually needs to shift- not just give you surface-level coping strategies. My approach is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), so alongside making sense of what’s hard, we’re also building practical skills to help you manage emotions, navigate stress, and feel more steady in your relationships and day-to-day life.
It’s collaborative, and we move at a pace that feels manageable. The goal isn’t to “fix” you- it’s to help you feel more clear, more grounded, and more like yourself again.
Pregnancy & Postpartum
This season can bring a lot of mixed experiences.
You might feel anxious, disconnected, unsure of yourself, or just not how you expected to feel.
There’s room for all of that here. You don’t have to filter it or make it sound a certain way.
Women’s Mental Health
I also work with women navigating:
anxiety and overthinking
relationship stress
burnout
boundaries and people-pleasing
major life transitions
You don’t need to be in a specific phase of life to reach out.
